After a successful 15-year career in the Specialty Finance business, Ben started The Blass Group's recruiting business in 2000. His most recent success was in setting-up a "de novo" captive finance organization for Vanstar Corporation, then a $3.2 billion Information Technology Systems Integrator. In that role, Ben and his team grew the business into an operation originating over $220 million in new financings in his last full year there. For 10 years, including his time with Vanstar, Ben led sales teams and/or participated in negotiating successful leasing transactions with numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Lockheed Martin Corporation, Philip Morris, Sony Music Entertainment, Simon & Schuster and United Technologies. While at Vanstar, Ben negotiated Alliance Agreements with IBM Global Finance, Hewlett-Packard Technology Finance, Compaq Financial Services and Heller Financial Services (subsequently acquired by GE Capital). Ben divides his time between the Specialty Finance Group and our Financial Services practice.

When not working, Ben spends a significant amount of time doing community work and is a member of several Corporate and Community Boards.
